Your Holiday Dress Code

If there’s one thing I think we can all agree on it’s that the world could use a bit of holiday spirit right now. Luckily for us, and our wardrobes, the holiday season is officially here. It’s time to dust off your favorite heels to prepare for intimate holiday soirées in your near future. While I know this season will be much different than years past, I’ll still be dressing up for Thanksgiving even if that means a more toned down, comfortable look. For this year’s small holiday get-togethers, think fun tops, accessories, flowy dresses, and chic flats. Will you be dressing up with me even if it’s just for yourself (and your kids & husbands)? If so, keep reading to see what I’ll be styling this Thanksgiving.

If you’re unsure of what direction to lean towards this holiday season, there are a few different ways I’d style an intimate soirée look: a fun top & trousers, a flowy dress, or an oversized blazer + your favorite denim. If blouses are your thing, this puff sleeve top and this one are so chic and would be great paired with your favorite denim or trousers. Another great option for fall gatherings are knit dresses! Not only are they warm but they’re also super chic and understated, I’m loving this rust knit maxi. Speaking of dresses, this denim dress is so fun and different for the holidays. I’ve shared many blazers before, but I can’t help but share this sophisticated, satin-collared blazer. This season, try a chic flat instead of heels like this pair or this pair. And lastly, what’s a holiday party without jewelry? I’m loving this pair of earrings and this pearl drop pair too.
